Why do I need the original bill pay platform?
With an account, you can view and pay bills for health care services provided February 2024 or earlier.
As of March 1, 2024, we have moved all the features from the original bill pay platform to our new Sharp App where you can manage your bills (for health care services provided March 2024 or later), schedule appointments, message your care team and more.
Do I need an account if I have the Sharp app?
If you have bills for health care services provided Feburary 2024 or earlier, you can use your account to make payments, view past statements and review payment history.
For health care services provided March 2024 or later, use the Sharp app to manage your bills, make payments, apply for financial assistance and more.

Do I need to remember two separate accounts and passwords?
If you have bills for health care services provided February 2024 or earlier, you will need a separate account and password from the Sharp app to make payments, view past statements and review your payment history.
For health care services provided March 2024 or later, you will need a separate account and password for the Sharp app to manage your bills, make payments, apply for financial assistance and more.
What upcoming classes and events can I register for?
Sharp HealthCare offers in-person and online health classes, educational seminars and support groups throughout San Diego. From Medicare education to breastfeeding support groups, our classes are mostly provided free of charge and can help you take care of your and your family's health.
Use your account to register, view your upcoming and past events and manage event reminders.
How can I get the Sharp app?
- On desktop, go to sharp.com/app
On mobile, download and open the Sharp app. - Choose use activation code if you received an activation code from us. If you don't have an activation code or it expired, choose I don't have a code.
- Enter your ZIP code and date of birth.
- Verify your contact information.
- Create your username and password. We recommend not using your email address as your username.
